We were colleagues, confidantes, and collaborators, yet she orchestrated a betrayal that left me feeling like a fool. What adds a bitter twist to this tale is the close proximity in our lives – attending the same school, residing in the same area, and occasional encounters. Despite these shared spaces, the individual lacked the basic courtesy to even exchange a simple greeting. It's a poignant reminder that authenticity should be the cornerstone of any collaboration, especially when advocating for noble causes.
